In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Q.1  The Olive Tree
The modern science discovered many medical benefits in the olive fruits and oil which granted the olive trees more importance in the world agriculture, trade and medicine. The Holy Quran mentioned the olive tree and the oil it produces and described it as the blessed tree and Allah Al-Mighty swore by the olive, which indicates the greatness of this tree.
The Quranic verse in which Allah described the olive as a blessed tree is:
  Verse # 35 Chapter (Surah) # 24, The light ( Annur).
  Verse # 1 Chapter (Surah) # 95, The Fig ( Attin).
  Verse # 20 Chapter (Surah) # 23, The believers, (Al-Muminun).
Q.2  We learn from Birds
The modern scientists after a long period of researching found out that birds have high mental capabilities even not less than mankind mental capabilities. However, the Holy Quran told us some stories about some birds which they reflected elevated and wise actions, such as Solomon' Hoopoe and the Crow which Allah sent to Qabel to show him how to burry his brother's dead body.
There is a Quranic verse in which the prophet Solomon mentioned that the birds have their own language which Allah taught him:
Verse # 22, Chapter (Surah) # 27, The Ants (Annamil).
  Verse # 31, Chapter (Surah) # 5, The Table (Al-Ma'edah).
Verse # 16, Chapter (Surah) # 27, The Ants (Annamil).
Q.3  The Ants Speak
Communication between the ants is very organized and advanced as the modern science approved. But the Holy Quran before 14 centuries revealed the story of ants with prophet Solomon, when one of the ants spoke to its colleagues about Solomon and his army.
Mention the Quranic verse in which the ant spoke and prophet Solomon was able to communicate with it.
Verse # 18, Chapter (Surah) # 27, The Ants (Annamil).
Verse # 38, Chapter (Surah) # 6, The Cattle (Al-Anam).
Verse # 17, Chapter (Surah) # 27, The Ants (Annamil).
Q.4  THE MIRACLE OF IRON
The modern astronomical findings have disclosed that the iron found in our world has come from giant stars in outer space.
Not only the iron on earth, but also the iron in the entire Solar System, comes from outer space, since the temperature in the Sun is inadequate for the formation of iron. The sun has a surface temperature of 6,000 degrees Celsius, and a core temperature of approximately 20 million degrees. Iron can only be produced in much larger stars than the Sun, where the temperature reaches a few hundred million degrees. When the amount of iron exceeds a certain level in a star, the star can no longer accommodate it, and it eventually explodes in what is called a "nova" or a "supernova." These explosions make it possible for iron to be given off into space.
One scientific source provides the following information on this subject:
There is also evidence for older supernova events: Enhanced levels of iron-60 in deep-sea sediments have been interpreted as indications that a supernova explosion occurred within 90 light-years of the sun about 5 million years ago. Iron-60 is a radioactive isotope of iron, formed in supernova explosions, which decays with a half life of 1.5 million years. An enhanced
An enhanced presence of this isotope in a geologic layer indicates the recent nucleosynthesis of elements nearby in space and their subsequent transport to the earth (perhaps as part of dust grains).
All this shows that iron did not form on the Earth, but was carried from Supernovas, and was "sent down," as stated in the Quranic verse. It is clear that this fact could not have been known in the 7th century, when the Qur'an was revealed. Nevertheless, this fact is related in the Qur’an, the Word of Allah, Who encompasses all things in His infinite knowledge.
  Verse # 9, Chapter (Surah) # 57, Iron (Al-Hadid).
  Verse # 25, Chapter (Surah) # 57, Iron (Al-Hadidl).
  Verse # 17, Chapter (Surah) # 57, Iron (Al-Hadid).
Q.5  The Skin Cells Memory
The theory of the Cell Memory states that every cell in our body contains information about our personalities and our history not only that but each cell has its own way of thinking.  So according to this when an organ is transplanted from one person to another ,its cells carry all its memory to the new body and  by implanting more than one organ there will be more cells containing more memories. Dr kandis Burt (author of  the Book Passion Molecules) found out  that cells in the human body exchange messages with each other  by short chain of  amino acids which, in the past ,  were thought   to be found only in the brain but proved now to be found also in other internal organs such as the heart and the important organs and that memory (of things ) is not only stored in brain but also it is stored in the internal organs cells and on our skin cells.  So the body skin has cells that can store information and events history. This fact was indicated out in the Holy Quran 14 centuries ago, when a Quranic ver se stated that the disbelievers in the Day of Judgement denies their sins, but their skins speak and witness their sins which they denied:
  Verse # 23 Chapter (Surah) # 39, (Azzumur).
Verse # 56 Chapter (Surah) # 4, The Women (Annesa).
  Verse # 21 Chapter (Surah) # 41, (Fussilat).
Q.6  The Natural Breast Milk Feeding
The Research on health and psychology proved that a period of two years is the optimal period for natural breast milk feeding, which is necessary so that a baby grows in a healthy manner. Allah in the Holy Quran obligates for the baby that his mother nurse him for a period of two years because Allah the Exalted knows that this period of time is the optimal time considering all the physical and psychological aspects for the baby, for those who wish to complete the period of nursing.
This fact is mentioned in the Quranic verse:
  Verse # 233 Chapter (Surah) # 1, (Al-Baqrah).
  Verse # 34 Chapter (Surah) # 14, (Ibrahim).
  Verse # 2 Chapter (Surah) #25 , (Al-Furqan).
Q.7  The Wind Pollination
The wind pollination is a scientific fact whereby the wind carries the pollen to the plants.
The Holy Quran described the winds as the pollinators in the Quranic verse:
  Verse # 22 Chapter (Surah) # 15, (Al-Hijir).
  Verse # 19 Chapter (Surah) # 54, (Al-Qamar).
  Verse # 41 Chapter (Surah) # 51, (Athariat).
Q.8  The Earth's Atmosphere
The Atmosphere surrounds the Earth planet and protects us from dangerous rays coming down from the Sun.  The Holy Quran mentioned this scientific fact by describing the atmosphere as the ceiling which protects the earth:
The Quranic verse in which Allah described the olive as a blessed tree is:
  Verse # 32 Chapter (Surah) # 8, (Al-Anfal).
  Verse # 41 Chapter (Surah) # 35, (Fatir).
  Verse # 32 Chapter (Surah) #, 21 (Al-Anbia).
Q.9  The Sunshine and the Moon Light
The Holy Quran differentiates between the light of the Sun and the light of the moon which implies a scientific miracle. If we review our knowledge of physics which we got at the school level, we will find that there are two sources of light the direct sources such as the sun, stars, lamp candle etc. and the indirect sources such as moon and planets. The indirect sources do not generate light but reflect it whereas the sun, the lamp, the candle share the characteristics of producing light. Therefore Allah compared the sun with the lamp or the glowing lamp and he did not compare the moon with lamp he called what the sun produces as light the sun is a glowing lamp whereas the moon reflects the production of that lamp.
There is a Quranic verse where this differentiation is stated clearly:
  Verse # 13 Chapter (Surah) # 78, ( Annaba).
  Verse # 5 Chapter (Surah) # 10, , (Younus).
  Verse # 16 Chapter (Surah) # 71, (Nouh).
Q.10  The Pharaoh (Ramesses II) Dead Body
Ramesses II is the Pharaoh during the time of prophet Moses (peace be up on him). The mummy of Ramesses II was found in 1989. This mummy was travelled to Paris in 1983 for research and refurbishing. The main researcher found out that this King of Pharaoh died of drowning in the sea as the sea salt remaining on his body told. This finding was only discovered in the 20th century, but the Holy Quran before 14th centuries described how this Pharaoh died of drowning when he followed Moses. The historical miracle in this story is that when the Allah said in the Quran that the body of this Pharaoh will remain as a sign to people to come after him. Now the Ramesses II is the Pharaoh during the time of prophet Moses (peace be up on him). The mummy of Ramesses II was found in 1989. There is a Quranic verse in which this fact is described and mentioned:
  Verse # 50 Chapter (Surah) # 1, ( Al-Baqarah).
  Verse # 46 Chapter (Surah) # 40, , (Ghafir).
  Verse # 92 Chapter (Surah) # 10, ( Younus).
Q.11  90/10 Principle
The 90/10 Principle is discovered by Steven Covey. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations). What is this principle?   10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?  We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.  How? By your reaction, you cannot control a red light. However, you can control your reaction. Do not let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.  In the Holy Quran there are many verses that showed the positive results of one's control of his reactions to his life events.
There is a Quranic verse which clearly said that treating people with the best positive manner will convert them from being enemies to close friends:
  Verse # 34 Chapter (Surah) # 41, ( Fussilat).
  Verse # 30 Chapter (Surah) # 42, ( Asshwra).
  Verse # 8 Chapter (Surah) # 5, (Al-Ma'aedah).
Q.12  The Throne of Balqees
The story of the Prophet Solaiman PBUH and Balqees the Queen of Sabaa and the matter of transferring the throne appears to be a kind of magic. Because how can a creature get the throne of the Queen of Sabaa from a distance of thousands of kilometers just within a fraction of seconds.  But modern science assumes that it is possible if we take into consideration our scientific achievement in the 20th century. As far as the question of how it happened at the time of the Prophet Solaiman  before more than 2000 years.?
It is one of the scientific miracles of the Holy Quran. This Scientific action mentioned in the Quranic verse:
  Verse # 39 Chapter (Surah) # 27, (Annamil).
  Verse # 40 Chapter (Surah) # 27, (Annamil).
  Verse # 44 Chapter (Surah) # 27, (Annamil).
Q.13  The Forelock (The Forehead)
A Canadian scientist, specialist in the science of brain, stated that it was only since five years that the part of the brain which is directly under the forehead responsible for fabricating lies and mistakes. It also helps the eyes to see and the ears to hear. It is also the center which takes decisions: If this part of the brain is cut, then the person will lose his independent will and become incapable of taking decisions. He will also loose control over himself. The Canadian scientist said that it was only since fifty years that we have come to know that it is the part of the brain which is behind the forehead which helps man to take decisions.
This scientific finding was mentioned in a Quranic verse where the forehead was linked with lies and mistakes:
  Verses # 15-16 Chapter (Surah) # 96, (Al-Alaq).
  Verse # 41Chapter (Surah) # 55, (Al-Rahman).
  Verse # 65 Chapter (Surah) # 11, (Hud).
Q.14  The Atoms Components
The modern atom as viewed by scientists today consists of three main particles located in two regions.  The recent atom research discovered even smaller parts of the atom. In the Holy Quran before 14 centuries, there is a verse which mentioned the atom and the smaller parts:
  Verse # 255  Chapter (Surah) # 1, (Al-Baqarah).
  Verse # 16 Chapter (Surah) # 31, (Luqman).
  Verse # 61 Chapter (Surah) # 10, (Younus).
Q.15  The neutron stars the gigantic hammers
Space scientists discovered giant stars called the neutron stars. Their surface is solid crystalline iron, and would ring like a bell were it to be hit with a hammer. In the star, the outer layers of the core are like the hammer, and the core is the rubber ball.
In the Holy Quran, Allah swore by these hammering stars:
  Verses # 1-3  Chapter (Surah) # 86, (Attareq).
  Verses # 1-3 Chapter (Surah) # 79, (Annazia'at).
  Verses # 1-3 Chapter (Surah) # 53, (Annajim).
Q.16  Expanding of Cosmos
The modern space scientists discovered that the size of the cosmos is in continuous expansion. This scientific finding was mentioned in the Holy Quran 14 centuries ago.
There is a Quranic verse in which Allah said that He created the sky and will expand it:
  Verse #  9 Chapter (Surah) # 43, (Azzukhruf).
  Verse #  27 Chapter (Surah) # 30, (Arrum).
  Verse #  47 Chapter (Surah) # 51, (Athariat).
Q.17  The Naoh Ark
The Holy Quran explained to us where the prophet Noah's ship (Ark) was rested after the flood. The Quranic story was approved by the recent discovery of Noah's Ark as shown in the picture. The remaining of the ark was found on a mountain called Judi in Turky. This confirms the Quranic verse which was revealed 14 centuries ago in which Allah mentioned this place and said that the Ark will remain a sign for people to come.
The Quranic verse is:
  Verses # 37-39  Chapter (Surah) # 11, (Hud).
  Verses # 13-15  Chapter (Surah) # 54, (Al-Qamar).
  Verse # 14-16 Chapter (Surah) # 29, (Al-Ankaboot).
Q.18  The Heavy Clouds
The climate modern scientists approved that the clouds have different types, masses, altitude and weights.  The weight of certain types of clouds reaches millions of tons.
This scientific fact was mentioned in the Holy Quran, when it describes the clouds of being heavy in the verse:
  Verse # 57 Chapter (Surah) # 7, (Al-Araf) and Verse # 12  Chapter (Surah) # 13, (Arra'ad).
  Verse # 43 Chapter (Surah) # 24, (Annur) and Verse # 13  Chapter (Surah) # 13, (Arra'ad).
  Verse # 9 Chapter (Surah) #, (Fatir) Verse # 36 Chapter (Surah) # 38, (Sad).
Q.19  The Reflective (returning) Sky
The new science discovered that the sky carries the clouds ofwater vapors through the water cycle from sea water and returns it in a form of rain to the earth. Also it reflects the Sun rays from the earth and protects the earth from the harmful sun rays.
This scientific fact was mentioned in the Holy Quran, and describes the sky by being reflective and returning:
  Verse # 47 Chapter (Surah) # 51, (Athariat).
  Verse # 11 Chapter (Surah) # 86, (Attareq).
  Verse # 1  Chapter (Surah) # 86, (Attareq).
Q.20  The Heart is Not Only a Pump
The medical science used to tell us that the heart is a blood pump that has nothing to do with feelings and emotions.  But in the recent medical discoveries there are researches that approved that the heart is not just a pump of blood, but it is also the center of intellect and prudence.  In the Holy Quran there are many verses that link the heart with intellect and wisdom.
There is a Quranic verse that indicated that the heart is a means of understanding:
  Verse # 179  Chapter (Surah) # 7, (Al-Araf).
  Verse # 1 Chapter (Surah) # 8, (Al-Anfal).
  Verse # 28 Chapter (Surah) # 13  (Arra'ad).
